What happens after I send my inquiry?
We review your case and reply within 24 hours on business days with the next steps as well as an assessment of your chances for success. You don't need to send any wallet files at this stage. Files are only exchanged after we've signed a service agreement.
What happens to my wallet data?
Your files are processed only on our own air-gapped and encrypted systems, by our in-house team in Zug and never passed to third parties. After your case is closed, all data is deleted.
What does it cost?
Our recovery service costs nothing unless we succeed. If we recover your wallet, our fee is a percentage of the recovered funds. You do not have to pay any upfront or processing fees for any cases and payment is only due after we successfully recover your wallet. All our fees are also explicitly listed in our service agreement, which you receive before entrusting us with your project.

What not to do
These actions commonly reduce the chances of recovering your Electrum wallet.
- Don't upload your wallet file to any recovery websites online.
- If your Electrum wallet file has been deleted, stop using the device to prevent overwriting recoverable data fragments.
- Do not download any unfamiliar tools to attempt a recovery of your password.
- Only download Electrum from its official website electrum.org when attempting a recovery.
- Don't open your only copy of an old wallet file in a new Electrum version. Conversion changes the file, so always work on a copy.

Agreement and secure handover
We sign a service agreement that sets out the fee, how your data is handled and when it's deleted. Only after the agreement is signed do you send us your Electrum wallet information or hand it over in person at our office in Zug.
Recovery
We work on your case with our own Electrum tools on air-gapped hardware and keep you updated during the process. If the recovery isn't possible, we tell you, delete your data and you owe us nothing.
Regaining Access
Once the recovery is successful, we hand the recovered access data over to you. You open the wallet and move your funds yourself. After the handover, we delete all copies on our side. The agreed fee is only due after a successful recovery of your Electrum wallet.
