Sometimes, but be aware that Sparrow encrypts the wallet file with Argon2, a deliberately slow, memory-hard algorithm designed to make password cracking expensive. A blind brute force is unrealistic, but strategic evidence based approaches can narrow the search enough to yield realistic chances for success.

Do I even need a recovery service for my Sparrow wallet?

Often not. Sparrow is non-custodial, so if you still have your full BIP39 seed phrase or (.mv.db) wallet file and password, you can reinstall Sparrow, import and be back in without anyone's help. Two common and very different causes: If you used a BIP39 passphrase, remember that Sparrow stores nothing derived from it, so a wrong or forgotten passphrase opens a different, usually empty wallet instead of showing an error. If you did not use a passphrase, an empty balance after restoring from your seed is almost always the gap limit, which is a quick fix. If you believe your passphrase is wrong and you only partly remember it, that is a case we can work on.

These actions commonly reduce the chances of recovering your Sparrow wallet.
